As a private dealer with more than 45 years of industry experience Michelle Rosenfeld (www.michellerosenfeldinc.com) decided to open a public gallery in 1990 in order to expand her business. Her husband, Herbert Rosenfeld joined her in order to meet the demands of her growing client base.
Since first opening our doors we have evolved into one of the world's premier art galleries specializing in Modern Masters, Contemporary Masters and Impressionists. We enjoy finding master works that complement the individual client's aesthetic requirements and needs.
Founded in 1970, The Michelle Rosenfeld Gallery originally focused on contemporary artwork. In the 1980s, when Herbert Rosenfeld joined his wife, the focus of the gallery expanded to include the major works of the 19th and 20th centuries. We frequently showcase promising new artists and have sponsored numerous public art awareness events; including free public art walks, lectures and gallery tours. The gallery had 17 separate exhibitions; incorporating Basquiat, Henry Moore, Monet, Picasso, and numerous other artists. We offer our expertise at acquiring art at various auctions such as Christies, Sotheby's, Phillips and Galleries.
